Harrisburg State Government Relations Professional Andrew Giorgione Elected to Penn State University's Smeal Alumni Society Board

Harrisburg, PA, March 27, 2009 — Andrew J. Giorgione, a state government relations professional with Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney's Harrisburg office, was recently elected to a four-year term as a board member of the Smeal College of Business of Penn State University. Giorgione has been a volunteer to the Smeal Alumni Society Board since the fall of 2006.
About the Board
The Smeal College Alumni Society Board of Directors governs the activities of the Alumni Society. At-large members may serve three consecutive three-year terms. The board also includes a revolving roster of ex-officio members representing the students, faculty and administration of the college.
The board undertakes programs to enhance the reputation and diversity of the college and represents alumni interests to administrators, faculty and the public.
