Based in Temecula, Buchanan's Inland Empire office is particularly known for its land use and environmental law experience.
Our experience in land use includes the entitlement and development of large and controversial projects of a wide variety of uses, both residential and commercial. Development-related experience includes general and specific plans, zoning ordinances and zone changes, tract maps and conditions of approval, development agreements, public finance, pre-excavation agreements, reimbursement and credit agreements, environmental review under CEQA and NEPA, the Subdivision Map Act, Mitigation Fee Act, Permit Streamlining Act, Williamson Act, and related land use and development laws.
Our Temecula office has particular strength in presenting development projects for approval to various boards, committees, planning commissions, city councils and boards of supervisors. We represent a number of developers and builders throughout Riverside County with specific emphasis in dealing with TUMF and MSHCP issues. We have represented Beazer Homes, Lennar Corporation, D.R. Horton, Inc., Standard Pacific Homes, Pulte Homes, Inc./Del Webb and Meritage Homes Corporation, to name a few.
Our environmental law practice covers a broad range of litigation, permitting and regulation (including CEQA), business/transactional issues, public lands and natural resource issues.
